The campaign so far

The Premier League Cup is a competition where clubs under-23s sides compete in a Champions League-style format.

City impressed last season topping a group that included Brighton Hove Albion, Hull City and Sunderland before losing to Wolverhampton Wanderers, on penalties, at the quarter-final stage.

The young Grecians kicked-off this season's campaign with a 3-1 loss away at Nottingham Forest under-23s despite a very positive performance. This was followed up by a well-earned 1-1 draw against Norwich City under-23s at St James Park which sees City sit third in the table.

The future of City need your support to progress as far as they can in the competition.
