The last Foundation BIG MONEY prize winner of 2018 was Graham Crocker, seen above receiving his cheque from operations Manager Andy Gillard at a recent home match.
Graham has been a City supporter since he was a young lad and have been a regular at SJP for around 60 years. He remembers being taken to his first game as a Birthday treat, against Chesterfield in (what was) the old 4th Division, in 1963 or 1964. City won 6-1 and he was hooked!
Graham's favourite players over the years have been, in Graham’s words the ‘usual suspects’, including “Arnold Mitchell; Ces Smythe; Alan Banks; Fred Binney; Lammie Robertson; Steve Neville. Of the current crop, Lee Holmes and Jake Taylor are both key when they play well and Nicky Law never seems to have a bad game.
Amongst favourite matches is the third round FA Cup tie against Manchester United in 1969 – SJP was packed to the rafters with 18,500 in attendance and the only way I could see was to sit up in one of the supports holding up the roof of the old cowshed.
More recently, Graham cites the Conference play-off victory at Oxford United and the promotion winning match at Rotherham, the right result with fantastic away support on both occasions. And who could forget the fantastic two late goals by Ollie Watkins in April 2016 to send Argyle packing!
Graham’s wife has already decided that the money is going towards an early 2019 break in the Canaries – with Graham hoping to avoid being away the February weekend when City host MK Dons.

The City Foundation draw runs throughout the year, and overall there are sixty-seven prizes – of which sixty-four are cash prizes – all of which means that members have a GREAT chance of winning, all winners are Exeter City supporters and net proceeds go to good causes at the club.
