New Exeter City Women’s signing Helen Kukor says she is looking to help the younger members of the squad develop as she returns to the club ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Helen has joined on a dual registration with Alphington and will bring experience to a predominantly young squad as they embark on a season in the FA Women’s National League Division One South West after winning promotion last season.
On signing for City, Helen explained: “I’m really excited to be back at City. I’m looking forward to helping the young girls develop and playing a part in an exciting season the women have ahead of them.”
Player-coach Abbie Britton is delighted to have secured the services of Helen and believes she could play a big role going into the new campaign.
She said: “I am absolutely delighted to get Helen on board, her experience in this league will only help our young squad.
“She’s a proven goal scorer and I’m hoping she can continue that with us. Helen was with us a few years ago so knows all about this fantastic club, so she’s welcomed back with open arms.”
Helen will be a part of the squad that open their 2019/20 season on August 18 when they take on Larkhall Athletic.
