Exeter City will travel to face League One side Coventry City in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The match is scheduled to take place on the week commencing Monday, August 12. The exact date, fixture time and ticket details for the game will be released in due course once the television games have been selected.
The first round draw was made live from Morrisons, Colindale, a short distance from Wembley Stadium – the home of the Carabao Cup Final, and was conducted by two former EFL Cup winners, John Barnes and Ray Parlour.
Last season the Grecians defeated Championship side Ipswich Town on penalties at the Park after a 1-1 draw, which set up a second round tie against Premier League side Fulham at Craven Cottage. The Grecians would suffer a 2-0 defeat.
