Voting is now open for the Exeter City Women's player of the season for the 2019/20 season.
Due to the worldwide Coronavirus epidemic, the decision was made on March 26 to end the season early with all results being expunged, which sadly meant no promotion or relegation of clubs between Tiers 3 to 7.
Exeter City Women, who play in the FA Women’s National League Division One South West, tier four, had won eight of their 12 games and sat third in the table at the time.
Joint manager and player Abbie Britton, who ended the season as top scorer with 13 league strikes, was proud of what the club has achieved: “Whilst we are disappointed that the season has come to a sad end, we are extremely proud of what we have achieved this season. To be sat in third position with half the games played after being promoted last season is an outstanding achievement to the squad, the club and everyone involved."
So we want you to help us to pick the Exeter City Women's player of the season for the 2019/20 season. Voting is now open and will run until 5pm on Thursday, April 30.
