Exeter City have teamed up with Bigwave media, one of the leading leisure specialist marketing agencies to provide a new Workout at Home initiative!
With the country currently in lockdown as we fight the Covid-19 outbreak, it is important that we look after both our physical and mental health and well-being as well as we can at home.
The new ‘Workout@Home’ web-based app was designed and built by the agency’s creative and web development teams and is accessible through any internet browser on mobile, tablet or desktop.
The tool provides a way to create easy to follow workouts, selecting from four categories; Cardio, Strength, Body and Mind; and offering over 45 workouts. For those that can’t decide on a workout plan, there’s even a random workout function to automatically build a bespoke plan!
Once you hit the start button the timer counts down and guides them from one exercise to the next. The workouts are quiet so can be completed in peace without disturbing neighbours/flatmates. Another benefit is that the workouts can be completed anywhere and in any sized home.
Tom Gozna, Strategic & Partnerships Director at Bigwave media and lifelong City fan said: “As an Exeter based marketing agency we are deeply connected to both the business and local communities and the people that make the area so great. We run the Bigwave Business games which has raised in excess of £40,000 for local charities and engages 25+ Exeter based businesses annually. Whilst this event is currently postponed due to the virus it was important for us to do something that supported and contributed to everyone’s health and wellbeing during this time of uncertainty.
“Our company mission statement is to 'Make a Difference' and we couldn’t think of anything better than helping to engage with Exeter City’s players, staff, fans and wider community to help keep them physically active. It will be great to see everyone taking part and challenge each other with the various workouts."
Why not challenge a friend to a ‘Workout@Home’? You could even do it together over Zoom?
