💬 Matt Taylor: "Once we got a foothold in the game, we moved the ball well without really making their keeper make too many saves."

Exeter City manager Matt Taylor was pleased with his side's performance against Bristol Rovers in their first pre-season game.

The Grecians lost the match 2-1, with Tom Parkes getting on the scoresheet for City.

However, despite two lapses in concentration at the start of the first and second half - when City conceded - Exeter had the better of the play and tested the opposition keeper with more shots on goal.

Therefore, Matt Taylor was pleased with the display even if he did feel his players should have worked the keeper a little bit more.
