City boss Matt Taylor has given his thoughts following defeat to Harrogate Town at SJP on Tuesday night.
Goals from Jack Muldoon and Brendan Kiernan downed the Grecians, who couldn't capitalise after Jake Taylor levelled the scores just ten seconds into the second half.
"They probably outcompeted us for the majority of the game. When we did get to the ball we didn't use it enough," Taylor said.
"The goals came out of nothing which is another frustrating factor for us. We got back in the game early second half which is why the second goal was such a killer for us."
