Following Exeter City's fine form during December, where the Grecians stayed unbeaten and picked up 11 points from a possible 15, manager Matt Taylor and winger Randell Williams are both up for the Sky Bet League Two accolades.
Randell got three more assists to add to his total for the season, which suprpasses any other League Two player, during December and scored a wonder individual goal against Northampton. For the player of the month award he is up against Eoin Doyle (Swindon), Anthony O'Connor (Bradford City) and Harry Pell (Colchester United).
Matt has also been nominated for the manager of the month award. During the month of December, he led Exeter City to an 11-point haul from five games - the joint best record in the division alongside Colchester United. In that time City recorded a thumping 3-2 home win against an in-form Northampton Town team, beat Salford City away, came back from 3-0 down to draw with Walsall, beat Newport County AFC on Boxing Day and drew away at Colchester United.
Matt is up against Ryan Lowe (Plymouth), Richie Wellens (Swindon) and John McGreal (Colchester United) for the December accolade.
Both the player and manager of the month winners will be announced at 6am on Friday.
