Exeter City manager Matt Taylor was left delighted with the players' effort in the 1-0 over Forest Green Rovers on New Year's Day.
City went ahead earlier on through Nigel Atangana and were good credit for their 1-0 lead at the break. However, Atangana was sent-off a minute into the second half and that meant City had to defend for long periods of the second half.
