Ryan Bowman has spoken with delight after he scored his first career hat trick in Exeter City's 6-1 thumping of Colchester United on Tuesday evening.
Bowman's treble alongside a Matt Jay brace and a Joel Randall strike secured City's biggest win since 2006 and the 28 year old was ecstatic with both his individual and the team performance.
"We were fantastic tonight. We were disappointed with Saturday but we dusted ourselves off. It's my first ever hat trick!
"Every single man was superb tonight. I could have - and probably should have - scored more. In the first half I should have scored with the great ball from MJ. I was disappointed in myself at half time but we were still winning.
"The manager said the important thing is that we get the three points in the end and overall it a great team performance."
