Jack Sparkes reflects after a strong win away from home against Cambridge, as he netted Exeter’s second of four goals.
Commenting on the team performance, Jack said: "It was a good performance from the boys, we stuck in there, even when it went to 2-1 and with the four goals. We stuck to our game plan and made it difficult for them."
Looking to capitalise on Cambridge’s system of play, Jack said: "They pushed quite a lot of players forward and we used that to our advantage in getting into those little spaces."
On the run in to the end of the season, Jack said: "We can take a lot of confidence from that going into the next eight games."
However, Jack placed the importance of taking each game as it comes, saying: "We said in the changing room, we can’t get too carried away with this win. We can celebrate it tonight, but we have another game on Tuesday at Barrow."
