Exeter City defender Pierce Sweeney reflects on a difficult day against Port Vale as the Grecians fell to a 1-0 defeat.
Reflecting on the narrow defeat, Pierce said: “It's not the result, or the performance we wanted. We can give all the excuses you want but they out played us.”
On the reaction to conceding early, Pierce said: "We were chasing the game, we’ve got to do something different, make an opportunity."
Looking forward, Pierce said “we all want promotion, and we can’t come here and perform like that”
