Matt Taylor has praised the ‘character’ of his Exeter City side, after battling to a 0-0 draw against Barrow.
“We had to soak up a bit of pressure towards the end of the game… I was really pleased with the heart and endeavour of the group of players tonight.
“We asked for little bit more fire in our bellies tonight, that’s what fans want to see.”
The manager went on to say he’s not concerned about the attacking performances so far this season.
“We’ve still got Sam Nombe and Archie Collins to come back into the fold. A lot of players who can score goals and threaten the goals, so I’m not worried one bit.
“In terms of personnel I can guarantee we will get stringer in our attacking sense.”
