Josh Key has given his reaction following City's 1-0 defeat to Tranmere Rovers at St James Park.
"It's at times like these when you have to look at your character," Josh said after a third consecutive defeat.
"The first half just wasn't good enough. It was really poor. I've got to be better, and we agreed as a team we all have to be better.
"We were all over them at the end but we just couldn't get that goal back. We have to start games differently, and that's nothing to do with the staff or anything, it's entirely to do with the players on the pitch."
