Jack Sparkes has praised City's defensive performance as they recorded a 1-0 win at Stevenage on Tuesday night.
Sparkes provided the ball for the only goal of the game with Rory McArdle latching onto his inswinger to find the back of the net, and the defender was quick to praise his colleagues in the back line.
"The boys stuck at it and we defended really well. The goal came from a set piece and we're really thrilled.
"The goal was something we've worked on and Ben (Seymour) did his job in the middle and everyone did their bit to get in the right position.
"Last Saturday we were short on delivery and knew we could have been better, and I worked really hard on that in training yesterday."
