City Manager Matt Taylor says he would have been disappointed to not have come away with all three points after Exeter City beat Colchester 2-1 away from home.
“We deserved to win that game of football, and probably deserved to win it by a bigger margin than we did,” Matt said.
Matt commended another strong performance by our Academy products, with Ben Seymour getting his first league goal for the club.
“A goal made in our academy, in Dan Green’s bedroom with all those session plans he does and all those sessions he’s done over the years.”
On Colchester’s goal, Matt said, “It felt like it just came out of nothing… If we’d have not come away with three points, I would have been disappointed”
