Saturday’s League Two game against Barrow has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at The Progression Solicitors Stadium.
Plummeting temperatures in the area have left the playing surface frozen and a local referee was called in to carry out an inspection at 1pm today.
It was subsequently decided that the best course of action would be to postpone the fixture, with temperatures expected to remain close to freezing throughout Friday and in to Saturday.
Given the national guidelines around coronavirus, it was not felt wise for Exeter to travel north with such a low probability of the game being able to go ahead.
No new date has yet been arranged but we will bring you that news as soon as it is confirmed.
