City's latest recruit Timothee Dieng has given his first interview after joining the club following his departure from Southend United.
The 29-year-old Frenchman put pen to paper on Tuesday morning and had his first training session with his new teammates as they prepare for the match with Weymouth.
"I'm really happy to be here. I've been waiting all summer and I'm really glad it's done," he said.
"The manager told me this was a family club and they're really ambitious. I've been really happy with everything I've heard so far.
"I'm a versatile player and I'm physical. I can run, a lot!
"I can really fit in within this team. We like to play football here and play from the back. I really like the Exeter City style. I can't wait to be on the pitch and meet my new teammates."
Timothee comes to club with 'a point to prove' after a disappointing season with Southend United last campaign, and is eager to show the supporters what he can do.
"Coming from a side that has been relegated, it's quite hard. I can't wait to prove that I'm a better player than the last two seasons have proved."
