The Grecian has been announced as the winner of an award for the best programme in Sky Bet League Two.
The website ‘Premier Progs’ has issued a Merit Award to Exeter City, recognising the consistently excellent programmes issued by the club during the 2020/21 season.
Website editor James Richards commented that “Exeter’s ‘The Grecian’ is a terrific programme, with plenty of readable features and in-depth club information – all complemented by some high-quality design work – that make the programme a pleasure to read through.
During a season when many clubs have chosen to cut back on their programmes, Exeter’s commitment to maintaining such high standards is worthy of praise. The club were worthy winners of our League Two Merit Award last year also, and they thoroughly deserve a second successive award.”
The Merit Awards issued by Premier Progs recognise excellence in programme production. Whilst the focus of Premier Progs is programmes issued for Premier League matches, the Merit Awards showcase great examples of other programmes, including those produced by EFL clubs.
Richards added, “there are many fine programmes throughout the EFL, any number of which would not look out of place in the Premier League. The Exeter City issue takes our Merit Award for League Two thanks to its range of articles and quality presentation. We can’t wait to see next season’s edition!”
