Exeter City are pleased to announce the signing of forward Jevani Brown.
The 26-year-old joins the club after his release from Colchester United last month, where he scored 11 goals in his first 16 matches of the 2020/21 season, including two hat tricks.
The former Jamaica under-17 international began his youth career at MK Dons and Peterborough and - after spells across the non-league pyramid at the likes Kettering Town and St Neots - was given his Football League break with Cambridge United in 2017.
Capable of playing in a variety of attacking positions, Jevani scored 14 goals in 85 appearances for Cambridge before his transfer to Colchester in July 2019.
After six months he was loaned out to Forest Green Rovers but returned to Essex the start of last season, starting that prolific run of goals between September and November.
Matt Taylor, speaking of his fourth summer signing said: "We're really pleased to sign Jevani. He is a player we'd admired from afar and someone who has found form and a position and got a goals return as part of that at the start of last season.
"He is a player with a different dynamic to what we've had at the top of the pitch previously. He's got pace, power and wants to stretch defenders. He can really affect the back line in different ways.
"He is someone we are looking to build a team around in terms of creating chances."
