Matt Jay has been nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Year award, sponsored by Bristol Street Motors.
After a stunning 2020/21 season in which MJ scored 18 goals and seven assists (league only), this is further recognition for one of our own.
After securing both the Player's Player and Supporter's Player of the Season awards, as well as being named in the EFL's League Two Team of the Season, and the PFA Team of the Year for League Two, MJ can now add the PFA Fans' nomination to his growing list of achievements.
MJ is up against stiff competition, with Bolton's Eoin Doyle, Cambridge United's Paul Mullin, Salford City's Ian Henderson, Port Vale's Tom Conlon and Jack Muldoon of Harrogate Town all up for the gong.
