Scott Brown has given his first interview as he joins Exeter City in a player/coach capacity.
The 36-year-old former Port Vale man will add his years of Football League experience to Matt Taylor's coaching staff and he has explained how his role will work.
"I'm primarily going to coaching but I'm signing as a player just in case I'm needed here and there," he said.
"My focus is on the other goalkeepers and helping them as best as they can. I've been fortunate in my career to work with some fantastic goalkeeping coaches and managers and hopefully I can bring in a little bit of everything they've taught me.
"The manager and coaching staff are all pulling in the same direction when it comes to developing players, but also themselves as coaches. That really excites me.
"I'm really looking forward to working with our young talented goalkeepers."
