Matt Taylor says his side are well prepared for Saturday's trip to Tranmere Rovers, where the Grecians hope to get back to winning ways.
Having had the opportunity to watch both of Tranmere's last two matches - a 0-0 draw with Grimsby on Wednesday and Sunday's Papa John's Trophy defeat to Sunderland - Taylor has praised Rovers' for their performances, and expects a similarly tough opposition this weekend.
"They've been on a good run of form and we know what to expect this weekend,' he said.
"I was really impressed with their match at Wembley and they played really well against a top League One side. This is a game for us where we really want to take some points.
"I was really pleased with how the players have approached training this week."
