City defender Rory McArdle says confidence is high going into the final weekend of the season, where three points against Barrow could see the Grecians into the play-off places.
Though not on the pitch, McArdle was first to join the celebrations as Pierce Sweeney's 96th minute header found the back of the net at Bolton last week, and the defender believes that momentum could see City over the line.
"We're really confident on the back of a great result last week," he said.
"It was a late one but it shows the mentality that we all have. We're never finished. We're all in a good place mentally and physically and we're all really looking forward to this weekend.
"This season has been hardest I've experienced mentally, so hopefully we can finish on a high and play three more games."
