Matt Taylor has given his post match thoughts as City convincingly beat Bradford City with three goals in extra-time.
Matt Jay's brace and Nigel Atangana's tap in sealed safe passage into round two, where they face Cambridge United away, and Matt was pleased with his side's performance.
"The quality we needed shone through at the end, but we had to stay in the game at times. We scored some good goals today, and it was an enjoyable finish, but we had to struggle to it," Matt said.
"Tuesday night replay - we have to be honest about the attendances in the competition at this stage - but the fans were superb and in good voice.
"It made it feel like a proper cup tie tonight and I was really pleased with the impact that fans had.
"In terms of facing Cambridge, that game feels a long way off. I'm pleased with the result as Bradford are a top top team."
