Matt Taylor has given his thoughts as City extended their unbeaten run to 20 matches in all competitions with a 2-1 win over Carlisle United.
Sam Nombe's eighth goal of the season coupled with Jake Caprice's first ever career goal saw the Grecians make it five league wins on the spin, however Matt wasn't totally pleased with the performance.
"In terms of the performance, we weren't flat but we weren't at our best," he said.
"We found it very difficult to break the opposition down and didn't quite test their goalkeeper enough.
"Their goal came from a bit of half way line defending when we're in the opposition box and I was thinking 3-0 as opposed to 2-1. It's a lesson for Alex and Pierce, and I think Tim who was around that area."
