Exeter City defender Cheick Diabate says the side are ready for the challenge as they take on West Ham United U23 in the Premier League Cup on Wednesday.
"We're really ready for it and we're more than capable of winning the game," he said.
"We haven't won in the competition yet so it'll be great to get our first win, but to do that we need to go into the game with the right mentality make sure we're competitive all over the pitch and believe in ourselves.
"We also have to believe in one another, trust in ourselves and trust one another.
"We'll face whatever comes in front of us and we'll be ready for us."
The match at Rush Green is being staged behind closed doors as it is unsuitable to host any supporters, so please do not try to attend.
