As we count down to tonight’s match, we would like to remind fans of the EFL regulations regarding pitch incursions.
We know emotions will be running high at full time tonight, but the safety of all supporters, players and staff must be paramount, and there may be serious consequences should there be a pitch incursion.
Supporters who go on the pitch risk facing a banning order as well as a criminal conviction. The club they support could also be fined.
If Exeter City win and secure automatic promotion this evening there will be player celebration on the pitch which will be filmed by Sky. Should there be supporters on the pitch, this celebration will be impacted.
Please also remember that St James Park is in a built up area of the city, so please be mindful of this and considerate as you leave the ground.
