Matt Taylor has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to take on Colchester at a sold out St James Park on Good Friday.
A crowd of up to 8,000 is expected for the clash against the Essex side, with City looking to cement their place inside the automatic promotion spots.
"We're looking forward to it," Matt said.
"The players have out themselves in this position and they are the reason these people are coming tomorrow.
"If those people go away from the game tomorrow, I want them to have an idea of our clear identity and an idea of what this football club represents.
"Colchester have been in a difficult position throughout the season, but they have picked up some impressive results recently. We have to respect the opposition."
