Harry Kite has spoken of his delight as his stunning first half strike set City on their way to a thumping 4-0 win over Port Vale on Saturday afternoon.
Harry's 24th minute stunning volley from the edge of the box put City one up on the way to their four goal haul, and the Grecians no.16 could not have been happier.
“I feel like it was a really strong performance throughout from the team and we are obviously very happy to get the three points and four goals but all important the clean sheet as well," he said.
“He (Matt Taylor) was really positive about the performance, really liked the way we sort of went about the game and I think we started the second half really brightly and put them on the back foot again.
“So yeah, I’ve seen it get crossed in and its then it got headed back out and I saw Jevani in front of me, knowing that I could come onto it and obviously I hit it really nicely, hit it really sweet and obviously I am pretty happy with that.
“We will take a huge amount of confidence and motivation from the win today, like I said a clean sheet, quite a few goals as well, so it was a really good win”.
