Matt Taylor has given his reaction as Exeter City recorded a 4-0 victory in their first Sky Bet League One home match in a decade.
Port Vale were put to the sword with two goals in each half as Harry Kite's screamer followed a Jevani Brown penalty, another from close range, and Sam Nombe instinctive finish secured a welcome three points.
"It's a great win and we have to make the most of them," he said.
"We don't know how many League One wins we'll get this season. This is a statement that our home form has to be strong again in this campaign.
"It was a moment of quality from Harry Kite. We said to we had to commit to more moments like that and that was my message at half time, and we went on to comfortably win the game.
"What a fantastic performance."
