Matt Taylor expects a new challenge from Cheltenham Town this Saturday, the team City beat 7-0 in the Carabao Cup last week.
That game at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium was the Grecians biggest away win in club history, but the home side made several changes for the match and Taylor expects those changes to be reverted for this clash.
"Myself and the team are treating it like a different opposition, because we know they'll make plenty of changes from the cup match," he said.
"The team we played, I don't expect many of them to be in the starting line up, so as much as we learn from the cup tie, it'll be completely different.
"It feels like we're playing someone we haven't played before, so the bearing that has on the team cannot he underestimated. We have to retain our identity, particularly in our home games."
