A trip to the football is a special family treat and at St James Park there is plenty on offer pre-match to keep the whole family entertained and to make sure your St James Park experience is extra special.
Getting to SJP on a match day can be difficult on traditional Boxing day matches and might require planning or car sharing. A chance to be environmentally friendly!
Whether you are making your first visit or returning to the Park after a long break please make yourself known to one of the Ambassador team on your approach to the stadium. They will be happy to update you on changes, where to go and what to expect. Helping you to make the most of your visit.
Travel
There are no train services or Stagecoach bus services. Making vehicles, bikes, running and walking the options. Whilst there are cycle racks at the Park please remember your chain and locks to protect any new Christmas presents from Santa. Perhaps best to leave brand new scooters at home. If you have some unusual way of travelling to SJP on Bank Holiday Monday why not tweet us a picture #onegreciangoal.
Car parking will be difficult to predict. Last year shoppers decided not to brave the weather or risk the escalation of Omicron variant and with many companies giving their staff Boxing Day off, Exeter city centre was very subdued despite some shops open with Boxing Day deals. It wasn't the same everywhere in the UK.
It is going to be a full stadium, so please arrive early. St James Park has plenty on offer pre-match to keep the whole family entertained and to make sure your St James Park experience is extra special.
