Gary Caldwell says he is 'proud' of Exeter City's performance, despite being denied a win after a 95th minute equaliser against Sheffield Wednesday.
"The best team in the league came here today and we've totally outplayed them from start to finish," he said.
"We were outstanding ands I really feel for the team. It's a cruel game and we have to learn small lessons. I can't ask anymore from the players.
"At the end we were trying to get a sub on and weren't allowed - I don't know why, so the rules were made up at the end, but I want to focus on the performance.
"They couldn't get near us at times."
