Harry Kite has given his assessment as Exeter City suffered a 2-0 defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
"We're all very disappointed. That was not where we needed to be after the first half," he said.
"We were the better team in the first five minutes but our heads dropped after we conceded a sloppy goal.
"I thought we were the better team in the second half and had the better chances, but that first half performance let us down today.
"We felt the loss of Sweens as he's one of the senior members of the squad. But it's a team collective and we have to look at areas to improve on."
