📝 Match Preview: Barrow (H)

Come down from the Tuesday high yet? Well, the Grecians need your support once again as they look to make it five league wins in a row when we take on Barrow at St James Park on Saturday.

After a quite incredible evening on Tuesday, when City came from 3-1 down to win 4-3 with a 95th minute Jack Sparkes' strike, all attentions now turn to the Cumbrian side, who make the gargantuan journey down to the South-West this weekend.

Managed by Mark Cooper, son of Grecians great Terry, Barrow drew 0-0 with Stevenage last Saturday in a fixture that was delayed by an hour and a half due to power failure, which was an important point in their battle against the drop. They have won one, drawn two and lost four oftheir last seven fixtures in Sky Bet League Two.

Manager's Thoughts

City come into the game having won four matches in a row and will look to extend that run to five when the Cumbrian side make the long journey south. Having finally come down from the high of Tuesday late late show against Harrogate, Taylor expects a tough test.

"Barrow are always a tough test. Mark Cooper has gone in at the start of the season and they're style of play probably reflects Mark - there are a lot of possession based and pattern principles," he said.

"They are good passers of the ball and will look to penetrate, so we will have to be at our best.

"But I always say, we only focus on ourselves, although we will have half an eye on what to expect from there."
