Matt Taylor has given his assessment as Kieran Phillips' goal secured a third consecutive win with a 1-0 victory at Bradford City.
The on-loan Huddersfield striker's instinctive finish just before half time was the decider as the Grecians extended their unbeaten run to seven matches.
"I'm obviously delighted with that result and the performance. We could have made it easier for ourselves by scoring that second goal but 1-0 kept our sharpness and focus," he said.
"It was a really good finish from Kieran. I'm delighted that he's off the mark - that front line is looking really strong with Sam's introduction, and all of a sudden we've got a bit of competition for places going on."
