Matt Taylor hailed his side's character as they came from behind to score twice in the final six minutes to beat Swindon Town 2-1.
Goals from Jevani Brown and Tim Dieng in the 84th and 88th minute secured a stunning three points for the Grecians, who fell behind through Joe Tomlinson's effort just after the break.
"I'm delighted the strength of our squad has been shown today in the impact of the subs. I'm also delighted for Jevani and Tim," Matt said, as rhe introduction of Jack Sparkes with ten minutes to go changed the formation which ultimately secured the victory.
"Against the wind - for us in the first half - you had to make the extra pass and we probably had more of the ball but then it suited Swindon in the second half as well.
"Unfortunately we fell behind but we stuck to task and believed it was going to come."
