Club Sponsors Carpetright have launched a fantastic year-long competition designed to support grassroots sport across the south west of England.
Football fans will have more of a reason than ever to keep an eye on the Exeter City scoreline – as our fantastic club sponsors Carpetright will donate £500 to a sports club every time Exeter City win!
The #WeWinYouWin competition will run from today’s match until December 2022. So, whether your club needs new kit, sports equipment, or improvements to grounds, clubhouses or pitches – if we win, you stand a chance of winning as well.
Wilf Walsh, Chairman of Nestware Holdings (parent company of Carpetright), said: “We’re delighted to be supporting community sports clubs across the south west this year and we hope this initiative will enable them to revamp their spaces and buy the kit the need to succeed in 2022. From January, any win for the Grecians will result in a £500 donation and we’re looking forward to receiving the applications.”
Nick Hawker, chair of Exeter City Supporters’ Trust, said: “We’re really pleased to launch this competition today, as everyone knows, community is fundamentally important to us at Exeter City, and it’s amazing to be able to support clubs right across the south west through this competition. Carpetright are fantastic sponsors, who have already done so much for our club, and we think it’s incredibly generous of them to support local sports clubs in this way.
“And remember it doesn’t have to be football, Carpetright will welcome entries from clubs of all types and sizes.”
To enter, all you need to do is follow the Grecians, if we’ve won, you’ll then have seven days to send your pitch to Carpetright, explaining who you are, why you deserve help and how £500 could help you to keep winning. Email entries must be no more than 350 words and should be sent to wewinyouwin@carpetright.co.uk
