Sam Stubbs is upbeat about the feeling in the changing room, as City head into Saturday's fixture with Hartlepool United looking to extend their run of clean sheets to four league games in a row.
Chatting ahead of the visit of Pools the centre-half said:
"The preparation has been really good and there's a good mood at the training ground and we want to transform that into performances on the pitch. That'll give us the best chance to win the game.
"We've trained all week and we've been watching Hartlepool so we know what they're good at, so we've done a bit of work on that. The quality we have in the team, we back ourselves to defend well and implement our style on them."
Stubbs has praised the fans and is looking forward to another good atmosphere on Saturday.
"They've been brilliant. Fantastic. So positive. The atmosphere is something we genuinely love and we hope to repay their faith on the weekend."
