πŸ“ Grecians score high in the EFL Fan Survey

Exeter City Football Club is proud to have scored highly in the recent EFL Fan Survey where supporters were asked to give feedback on a range of matters relating to their club.

Topics assessed included fan relationship with the Club, the Matchday experience, club ticketing and fan engagement and the results are crucial to the club’s development of its match day experience and fan engagement work.
 
The most pleasing result of the survey was the ranking of 8.8 for average matchday satisfaction, higher than the EFL average of 7.9. The highest-ranking elements of the matchday experience including the atmosphere inside the stadium, safety, and welcoming and inclusive environment.

Participants also felt valued by the club with a rating of 8.7 against the EFL average of 7.4, with 92% feeling that the club is important to the social fabric of the City and 83% being aware of the work the club does in the local community. 

Reasons for fans feeling valued included players acknowledging fans on a match day, the regular communication with fans on all club matters and enabling supporter representation at Board level.
 
The Grecians also scored highly on the important topic of fan engagement with a score of 4.6 out of 5 which is higher than the ELF average of 3.8.
 
With the implementation of a new ticketing system this season, it’s encouraging to see that the process of purchasing tickets was ranked at 4.5 out of 5, higher than the EFL average of 4 with a high percentage now booking in advance and online.
 
The key factors to the high rating included the attitude of staff, level of information provided, options and the lack of booking fee attached to purchases.

The club will analyse the results and take all feedback into consideration ahead of the new season.
