Jamal Blackman is excited to get going in an Exeter City shirt, as he today signed a one-year deal with the club.
The 6ft 6in towering shot stopper is Matt Taylor’s first signing of the summer ahead of the Sky Bet League One campaign, and the former Chelsea man is pleased to be a Grecian.
“I’m really happy to get the deal over the line,” the 28-year-old said.
“I’ve been really looking forward to it and looking to get out there and help the team, and I can’t wait to meet all the fans.
“I had some good talks with Scott [Brown] and he said plenty of good things. He’s spoke to me about the club and where they want to go, and this is a good place to get straight into it. I want to be a part of it, and to work with Scott and knowing him well, that’s an easy transition for me.”
“I’ve seen how well they played last season and I want to influence as much as a I can.”
