As we take a look back at last season month by month via our club photographers PPA UK, we now move onto October, where the Grecians marched on their way to five consecutive wins in the league.
We start though with a 2-2 draw away at Stevenage, where Sam Nombe and Matt Jay continued to fire in the goals.

The first of those five consecutive wins came at Crawley, where the Grecians came from behind to win 3-1 with second half goals from Nigel Atangana, Nombe and Jay - who would go on to win goal of the season with his sumptious strike.

The wins were starting to flow, with the next match at home to Mansfield resulting in a 2-1 victory and another match where they came from behind to win.

And then onto the final game of October. With Crawley and Mansfield dispatched, it was on to the North-West as the Grecians headed to Salford City. With the score 1-1 in stoppage time, Jake Caprice tries his luck from distance...
Caprice's curling effort deflects off the Salford City keeper and into the back of the net in the 95th minute as the Grecians pull off a late late victory.
