Manager Matt Taylor has reacted to City's win against Stevenage on Saturday evening.
Speaking after the game was pleaed with his side's performance.
“I thought we deserved it on the balance of the play, on the chances we created, especially second half.”
Stevenage offered stubborn resistance throughout the game and the manager have applauded the resolve of his team.
“We found a way to be relatively comfortable even at the end of the game. Stevenage came at us to start the game but I thought we played the best we played in a few weeks. We moved the ball really well, we got in some good positions.
"I’ve not seen a header fly in the goal at that pace for a long time so I’m delighted for Sam. He’s still got to know his role and responsibilities within the team, he’s a defender first and foremost. Himself, Pierce, Alex and Cam were excellent through to keep them at arms length.”
