Exeter City defender Jack Sparkes has thanked the fans for their fantastic support this season, ahead of Crawley Town under the lights on Tuesday night.
The Academy graduate made his 100th appearance for the club at Saturday's match and was delighted to reach the milestone. "It was a nice feeling." said Jack. "It's been up and down over the last couple of years having a couple tough injuries to take.
"If you had asked me when I made my debut at sixteen that I'd play over 100 matches for the club I would have taken that, so I'm really pleased to get there."
Matches with Crawley Town over the past few seasons have been tough and tight affairs and Jack is expecting the same on Tuesday. "They are a tough team to break down and are strong defensively.
"But for us the crowd has been brilliant, the fans this season have showed their numbers and supported the boys and if we are going to go up this year we will need every single one of them."
