On Monday night, thousands of Grecians lined the high street to show their appreciation for an Exeter City side that sealed automatic promotion to Sky Bet League One for the first time in a decade.
A pair of open-top double decker buses, provided by Stagecoach left St James Park and slowly paraded to the Guildhall where the players were met by past Lord Mayor of Exeter Cllr Yolonda Henson, who congratulated the club and addreseds the crowds.
The players then were part of a Civic Reception hosted by the past Lord Mayor and invited guests inside the historic Guildhall before returning to SJP.
