Matt Taylor is incredibly proud of his club's achievements as Exeter City finish second in League Two.
Chatting after Saturday's defeat to Port Vale, the manager reflected on a historic season for the Grecians.
"We have to find a way to celebrate despite the defeat today and losing out on the title. there wasn't too much in the game. Their keeper pulled off a good save and they scored with a moment of quality.
"It was a frustrating second half. we never quite got going and didn't get the ball exaclty where we want. As soon as the disappoinment from today disperses, we're back in celebration mode. We understand what we've achieved this season."
Matt Taylor became the first person to achieve promotion as a player and as manager, all of which happened under Trust ownership and he praised the fan-ownership in context of returning to League One.
"The clubs who have been promoted will of course be happy but here at Exeter it's so much more special. We do things in a different way."
