One of our Own, Jay Stansfield has picked up the club awards for Carpetright Player and Vospers Goal of the Month for October.
Jay, who returned to City on a season-long loan from Fulham back in August picked up the fan voted Carpetright Player of the Month award after being in fantastic form in October, scoring four times and providing two assists in a series of fantastic performances in red and white. Jay took a huge 79% of the total votes!

The Vospers Goal of the Month went to his thunderous strike against Charlton Athletic at the Valley as Jevani Brown plucked the ball out of the sky for Stansfield on the edge of the area who hit it first time, an absolute barn stormer of a strike that sailed into the back of the net. The goal took 40% of the total voting to scoop the award.
