A last-gasp George Spencer equaliser meant the spoils were shared last weekend as Exeter City’s Under-18s drew 3-3 at Swindon Town U18s.
Spencer opened the scoring on 17 minutes, however, despite a Robins equaliser, Joe O’Connor’s strike at the end of the first half meant City held the advantage as the teams went into the break.
Two own goals from the unfortunate Scott Simmons at the beginning of the second period turned the game on its head, but Spencer’s 90th minute dramatic goal saw Brad Miller’s men snatch a draw.
The Grecians still sit in the bottom half of the Youth Alliance South West divisional standings, ahead of their crucial clash with Cheltenham Town this Saturday.
